Uncle Tom's Cabin - Touring in groups of 20 or more

Grades 5 through 12 Kindergarten through Grade 4 The Dresden area has a wealth of black history to be shared through the internationally known Uncle Tom's Cabin. We believe exposure to the history presented on our tour will foster multicultural understanding and tolerance needed for citizens of tomorrow.

School groups receive a focused, active tour of Uncle Tom's Cabin Historic Site at a discounted rate. For the proper amount of learning, please allow two hours for this tour. For students aged 13-17 years the cost is $5.25 and for children aged 6-12 years the cost is $4.50. A maximum of 7 Chaperones tour the site with the students for free. We are closed Mondays in May, June, September, and October.

In these times of cost constraints, touring our site means you do not have to sacrifice educational information and excitement while staying close to home.
